Annual General Meeting

The Chesterville & District Agricultural Society’s 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) takes place Sunday, April 6th. Learn about and discuss the past year as well as take part in elections for the 2025 Board of Directors will take place. If you’re interested in becoming a member of the Society and/or join the Board of Directors, now is the time. A short Directors’ Meeting will follow the AGM where the executive will be elected.

Who are we looking for?

The Chesterville & District Agricultural Society is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team! Whether you’re a long-time fair enthusiast or new to the community, we welcome fresh ideas and eager hands to help shape the future of the Chesterville Fair.

Available Positions:

🔹 Committee Members – Want to help without the commitment of a board position? Join a committee and assist with planning specific areas of the fair, such as entertainment, livestock, homecraft, fundraising, or kids’ activities.

🔹 Directors & Associate Directors – Take on a leadership role overseeing specific aspects of the fair, from sponsorship and marketing to organizing competitions and special events. Associate Directors are a great option for those interested in getting involved but not ready for a full Director position.

🔹 Secretary – Keep our meetings organized by recording minutes, managing correspondence, and assisting with administrative duties.

🔹 Homecraft Secretary – Support our Homecraft Division by organizing entries, assisting exhibitors, and ensuring a smooth competition process.

🔹 Treasurer – Manage the fair’s finances, including budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. A background in accounting or finance is helpful but not required.

Looking to Volunteer?

Not ready for a board position but still want to help? We always need volunteers to lend a hand before, during, and after the fair! Whether it’s setting up, running activities, or assisting with events, there’s a role for everyone.
